Kindergarten Enrollment Information 

Fee Based All Day Kindergarten To Be Offered for 2017-18 School Year

A Fee-Based All Day Kindergarten option for families will again be offered this next school year. The All Day Kindergarten program will be offered at a cost of $225 per month. Families who qualify for free and reduced lunches will not be required to pay the monthly fee.  

Students must live in the district and be five years of age on or before August 31, 2017 in order to attend Kindergarten next school year.

 

Kindergarten Online Pre-registration for Enrollment 
Wednesday, March 1st through March 28th

ONLINE pre-enrollment will be open March 1st through March 28th and must be completed prior to arriving to the Kindergarten Enrollment session on March 28th.


Kindergarten Enrollment 
Tuesday, March 28 - 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. - Maize High School - 11600 W. 45 St. N. in Maize

Mark your calendar to attend this mandatory meeting if you are enrolling a Kindergartner for the 2017-18 school year. The date and location to finalize enrollment is Tuesday, March 28th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Maize High School, 11600 W. 45th St. N. in Maize. Please note that arriving early has no impact on your child's building assignment or AM vs PM class placement.  If you have questions, please contact us at enrollment@usd266.com or call the Enrollment Hotline at 316-350-2050. This event is for all students who will be attending Kindergarten in Maize USD 266 in the fall of 2017.

Recommended enrollment assignment by last name:

A thru G, 5 -6 p.m.
H thru P, 6 - 7 p.m.
Q thru Z, 7 - 8 p.m.

(Come anytime between 5-8 p.m. if the recommended time doesn't work for you.)

 

  • Complete online pre-enrollment prior to arriving.
  • Bring Proof of residency: ONLY housing contract, rental agreement, current water, gas or electric bills will be accepted
  • Bring copy of Birth Certificate (must be State issued)
  • Bring proof of immunizations and a health assessment

If you are NEW to Maize USD 266 and DO NOT have other students in the district -

Medication Form

Dental Card Dental inspections may be performed annually on all students in grades K-5 unless the parent/guardian chooses to opt-out. This screening is performed by a person or persons trained in dental inspection. Click on the link to view the dental card for the 2016-17 school year.
