As you can see below, the mission of our district is to help our students discover their potential through connecting, learning and leading. We are committed to doing this in a safe, student-centered learning environment. We will lead by example, hold high expectations for all staff and will connect with the stakeholders in and outside our organization to make it happen.

In the next three to five years, you will see us focusing our efforts to find and retain highly qualified staff, build our student/staff relationships, provide more meaningful professional development to our staff, better align our curriculum and instruction to meet student needs and to continue to build and foster our outstanding relationship with our community. Maize USD 266 Mission 

The mission of Maize USD 266 is to inspire students to discover their potential through connecting, learning and leading.

For the past fifteen years, the district has utilized a long range planning process called the Journey to Excellence. The 2012-13 school year marks the first year of the newest round of planning adopted by the Board of Education last summer.

In the winter of 2012, the administrative team met over the course of three days with a facilitator from an organization called the Flippen Group to revisit the district's mission and vision for the future. A simplied mission emerged in the process: we are here to inspire our students. The plan below outlines the key areas we will address as we work toward this goal.
