Bus Information Students who attend Maize schools have the opportunity to be transported to and from school by bus. Pick up and delivery locations for students being transported by school vehicle will be determined at the beginning of the school year. Only one pick-up and drop-off location will be allowed at residential addresses or day care provider addresses within school district boundaries. A change of locations during the school year will be approved for the following reasons:
If you have a need to change your student's transportation arrangements during the school year, the form below must be completed and turned in to your student's school office. The transportation department will respond to the request within three school days. |
If there is an incident on the bus, first contact your driver and make them aware of the issue. The driver will then contact parents or administration depending on the incident. If your student will be riding home with a friend, a signed note by the parents and building administration of both your student and the student's friend is to be given to the driver when the bus is boarded. Bus riders should be waiting at their bus stops five minutes prior to their scheduled pick up time. If the bus does not arrive five minutes past the scheduled time, contact the transportation office at 722-0582.
