Maize Education Foundation

SchoolCenter Picture Established in 2003, the Maize Education Foundation is an independent, 501 (c)(3) corporation promoting quality education in Maize Unified School District 266. It was organized exclusively for educational purposes to provide supplemental funds for academic programs or activities for the Maize school system. Specifically, the Maize Education Foundation seeks and distributes funds to support programs and initiatives to further enhance learning for public school students in the Maize community.

Funds raised by the Foundation stay in the district to benefit students and are tax deductible.

Our Blueprint for the Future SchoolCenter Picture

Our goal is to raise funds in support of educational programs across the district, to have 100 percent participation of Maize USD 266 employees in the annual payroll deduction program and to have a fully developed relationship with businesses and other organizations that support the school system. The Foundation will work in partnership with the school district to provide supplemental funding for identified educational needs. Every gift given to the Foundation strengthens our community.

Board of Directors

The Foundation is governed by its own Board of Directors, comprising a cross section of the community. They serve three year terms. Members of the Board of Directors determine how funds are allocated and awarded. Current board members are:

President: Darin Augustine

Vice President: Jeff Hohnbaum

Treasurer: Jeff Rich

Secretary: Shenneah Webb

Members Candace Allenbach, Steva Bossemeyer, Julie Eastlick, Ben Hutton, Sarah Kueser, Linda Lansdown, Chellie Powers
