Only resident students will be admitted to Maize schools except: employees of the district may enroll their children with permission from the Superintendent of Schools. PreK-8 students whose residence changes to outside the district shall be dropped at the end of that current nine-week grading period.

Enrollment Requirements

1. Proof of residency: utility bill; housing contract; rental agreement
2. Immunization record
3. Birth certificate or school records from previous school
4. Student's current grade card/transcript
5. Student's social security number
6. Current address and phone number of last school attended

Changes in student information

Please notify the school office when changes occur such as phone number (home/work), address, or emergency contacts.


Withdrawals & Transfers

The parent should initiate withdrawal three days in advance of the moving date. This advance notice allows sufficient time to get the necessary paperwork completed. Please notify the office personnel at the respective building. If notification is not given, a three-day turn around on paperwork and refund will be followed.


Food Service Program

School breakfast and lunch are served daily. The computer based meal accounts work like a bank account. Parents are encouraged to deposit money in the child's account on a monthly basis. If no money is in the account the child will be instructed to phone the parent. No meal charges will be allowed. All accounts will remain open while the student is enrolled in USD 266 schools. All parents are invited to join their children for lunch at school. Applications for free and reduced meals are available in the office.
