Reading 8

(Semester)

Reading--Focus: Reading for enjoyment and comprehension will be emphasized. The class will include reading books selected by students in genres of biographies, autobiographies, fiction, etc. with much of the reading done in class. Students will be required to journal with the reading teacher on a weekly basis on their thoughts and feelings about their books. Each student will be required to read one book from the electronic bookshelf and answer a comprehension work sheet.
