A variety of formal and informal assessments are used to determine student progress and achievement at Vermillion. Indicators used by teachers to assess student progress include classroom assignments, observation, curriculum checklists and locally developed criterion referenced tests. The Kindergarten Assessment Instrument (KAI) and First Grade Assessment Instrument (FAI).
