Kindergarten Connection Kindergarten Connection is a program designed to help your child have a smooth transition to Vermillion Primary School when they begin Kindergarten in the fall.  The children will be introduced to the building, various classrooms, the playground and the bus.  Staff from Vermillion Primary will be visiting our classroom area (the cafeteria, or all-purpose room) frequently to introduce themselves to the children       Parents As Teachers Parents As Teachers (PAT) is a program designed to help parents be better teachers for their children during their early years.  This free, voluntary program is provided to all families by the Kansas State Department of Education and the Maize School District.      Eaglets Eaglets is a preschool for parents and children to participate in together.  The preschool sessions meet once a week during the school year with a certified teacher.      Count Your Kid In Count Your Kid In is a free program provided by the Kansas State Department of Education to assess children ages birth through 5 in the areas of walking, talking, seeing, hearing and learning.                                      Back to VPS Main Page
