SUPERINTENDENT'S MESSAGE
-
Welcome, Dr. Raquel Greer, Superintendent of Schools
The Maize family welcomed Dr. Raquel Greer, who joins USD 266 as its Superintendent of Schools on July 1. Dr. Greer is eager to guide Maize USD 266 on a journey to refocus and reenergize on instruction and what kids need, she said. Dr. Greer, who has experience as an educator and a school counselor, said the community can expect her to value relationships, teamwork, and caring for people. She said the Maize USD 266 superintendent position was the only job she applied for and was drawn to join and lead the district because of its highly skilled employees, excellent reputation, and involvement of and support from an informed and caring community base. She has been an educator and community member in the Wichita area for 23 years and welcomes the opportunity to continue to get to know Maize and share more about herself.

Together, we can help students succeed.
Supporting students in defining and pursuing their individual versions of success is one of the greatest legacies we can leave for our community and one of the mostimportant things we can do to build a better future.
In support of that belief, the Maize Education Foundation strives to partner with school leaders, community members, parents, and business owners in order to secure funding and develop partnerships that aid Maize educators in piloting educational and enrichment programs, developing new curriculum, and providing innovative experiential and project-based learning opportunities for all preK-12 students enrolled in the Maize School District.
Thank you to these businesses and organizations for believing in our students and educators and giving support through financial and in-kind gifts to the Maize Education Foundation.
