Lyn Brown - College and Career Advocate

Lyn Brown is the new College and Career Advocate at Maize South High School.  Although this is a new position for her, Lyn is not new to Maize, USD 266 or to the world of counseling.  Lyn came to the Maize district as a counselor in 2004 and retired from Maize High School as the Director of Guidance in 2017.   After a year of retirement, she learned of the opportunity to help students with their college and career choices at Maize South High School.   Lyn is very excited to be a part of the MSHS staff and to work one on one with your students.   Lyn Brown is willing to meet any time with parents and students to provide guidance in preparing for college, navigating scholarship websites, searching for careers of interest, and developing a solid plan for after high school graduation. To schedule an appointment - call 316-462-8012 or email lbrown@usd266.com.

  • Parents and students have both asked me many times about Dual Credit Classes.  The video below explains about the availablity of the Dual Credit classes and should answer any of your questions.  Please contact me if you need more information.
