• Change in #OneMa1ze Free Meal Locations beginning Monday, April 6th.



    Serving Mondays & Wednesdays April 6th - May 20th

    While school buildings across Kansas are closed during the Coronavirus outbreak, school breakfasts and lunches are still available. Maize USD 266 will offer free grab-and-go breakfast and lunch on Mondays and Wednesdays at two locations across the district.

    Maize Middle School: 4600 N. Maize Road, Maize KS 67101, 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

    Maize South Elementary: 3404 N. Maize Rd, Wichita KS 67205, Noon to 1 p.m.

    Food Services staff members will distribute meals curbside. Roll down your window, let staff know how many students you have. Pop your trunk and meals will be placed in your trunk to maintain distance. There is no need to get out.

    Meals are available to:

    • Children ages 1 to 18.
    • No signup, eligibility, or paperwork is required.
    • Breakfast and lunch sacks are provided to each child at the time of pickup.
    • Only children that are present may receive meals, per Federal guidelines.
    • Visit ONE site per day regardless of which Maize USD 266 school building the child has attended.

    Special arrangements can be made for students with dietary restrictions or quarantined families by emailing mebarnard@usd266.com.

    Change in location is due to Families First Coronavirus Response Act which now allows school sites with <50% of students receiving free or reduced meal benefits to participate in the free meal program.
