Maize Special Education Cooperative
Advisory Council
The special education advisory council was established in January 2022. Stakeholder groups represented on the council from both the Maize (USD 266) and Renwick (USD 267) school districts include parents, community partners, and school district employees.
The Mission of the Maize Special Education Cooperative Advisory Council is to solicit input, support, provide guidance, advocate, and empower a collaborative partnership in order to strengthen the bonds among the member districts and community stakeholders (parents, students, staff, community partners) to ensure high quality educational opportunities for students with exceptionalities and their families.
The Special Education Advisory Council meets four times throughout the school year. The council will meet:
