Meet our School Nurses

Our school nurses care for the health and wellness of students, including administering medication. Click on each school below to learn more about each nurse in our district. 

The Maize school district is committed to promoting a safe and secure environment that inspires our staff and students to do what they do best – teach and learn, enabling our students to become the successful leaders of tomorrow.

Through partnerships with the cities of Maize and Wichita, Sedgwick County, and the state of Kansas, and private organizations such as the Pando Initiative, and the Wichita Crime Commission. The Maize school district offers a variety of programs and services to students, staff and parents that encourages positive physical and mental health, and a strong and vibrant learning environment.

Our comprehensive approach to health and safety is reflected in the diverse nature of our operations that includes the best school nursing staff, Mental Health Intervention Team (MHIT), and School Resource Officers (SRO), as well as the variety of security apparatus at work every day across the district to keep our students, staff, and visitors safe.
