Maize Performing Arts and Aquatics Center

The Maize Performing Arts and Aquatics Center is a dynamic hub designed to support a wide range of activities for students of all ages.

The center, at 1155 W. Academy Ave. in Maize, hosts musical and theatrical performances, elementary swimming lessons that are part of the district's water safety initiative, high school swim practices and competitions, and special events in its versatile auditorium and natatorium. Additionally, the building’s three classrooms provide spaces for professional development, Maize School Board meetings, and district events.

Completed in 2021, the 88,000-square-foot facility features a 1,200-seat auditorium with balcony seating, serving as the district’s premier venue for intermediate and middle school orchestra, band, choir, and theater performances. The competition-grade natatorium includes an eight-lane pool with a dive well, zero-entry access, and seating for 500 spectators. With locker rooms, office spaces, and more, this facility is a cornerstone for education, athletics, and the arts in Maize USD 266. We also proudly partner with the Maize Recreation Commission for community use opportunities, including summer music theater performances.
