Welcome to Maize USD 266!

Maize USD 266 proudly and carefully serves more than 8,000 students who live in Maize, Northwest Wichita, and the surrounding area. The district and its surrounding suburban community have grown continuously while maintaining the close-knit qualities of a one-room schoolhouse.

Pre-K Students: 

Pre-K is available to children who are age 3 or 4 by Aug. 31, 2024. Enrollment is first come, first served and space is limited. Contact the Maize Early Childhood Center at 316-722-3105 for additional information.

Elementary Students: 

Currently, elementary school placement is not determined on the boundary. Elementary student placement is based on the number of students, class size, and siblings. Placement is determined by administration.

The Maize USD 266 Enrollment Center provides assistance to parents and guardians with enrollment. The Enrollment center is open from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at 201 S. Park in Maize, KS. The last enrollment of the day starts at 2:30 p.m. with no appointment required.

What to expect: 

The Enrollment Center offers a space and the technology needed to complete enrollment online if unable to enroll from home. Parents and guardians do not need to bring their children along for enrollment. The Enrollment Center has computers readily available for use.
