      The future of Maize USD 266 looks bright, thanks to voters who overwhelmingly approved our district's plan Aug. 27 for a $108.2 million bond issue to address growth, safety, and opportunity for all students.

      Our OneMa1ze community will be asked at the polls to consider a plan for a venue that would house an auditorium and an indoor swimming pool to bring new opportunities without an increase to the local tax levy.

      Our No. 1 priority is the safety of our students and employees. In this era of school safety, Maize USD 266 must seek to continually upgrade what we are providing right now in terms of school safety.

      One of the biggest perks of this bond plan is that our community can provide these big changes for our students and schools with zero impact on the district's tax levy.
