Starting Monday, May 9, traffic on Academy Avenue will be one-way westbound in one lane from Maize Road to Khedive, as shown on the accompanying map. School buses will continue to follow their regular routes. Please consider how this may affect your daily traffic.

The Kansas Department of Transportation is scheduled to conduct work on Academy Avenue in Maize through September. The tentative start date is May 2, and work will be conducted six days a week until the end of the school year. Lane closures but not full road closures should be expected. The work is part of Academy Arts District improvements.
