Superintendent search includes community meetings, digital survey

Maize USD 266 and the Maize Board of Education are working with the firm McPherson & Jacobson on the superintendent search process following Dr. Chad Higgins’ previously announced resignation at the end of the current school year.

As part of the search process, community stakeholders are invited to share feedback about what they would like to see in the next superintendent.

Parents and community members are invited to attend an upcoming parent/community meeting and/or click here to complete the Maize Superintendent Search Stakeholder Survey. The survey closes at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 13.

  • 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11 at Maize Middle School, 4600 N. Maize Road, Maize
  • 5 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12 at Maize South Middle School, 3403 N. Tyler Road, Wichita

The Maize Board of Education has scheduled a Superintendent Search Work Session at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 13 at the Educational Support Center, 905 W. Academy Ave. in Maize. The meeting will be open to the public and broadcast live on the district’s YouTube channel at bit.ly/Maize266YouTube.
